A Control Committee was set up with the function of promoting and monitoring the correct and timely application of the provisions of the present Agreement with particular reference to what is laid down in article 7 and to the work assigned to the Joint Office. It is composed of two members nominated by the Holy See and two members nominated by the Government of Malta. The Control Committee meets at least every two months and is chaired, alternately, by a representative of the Holy See and by a representative of the Government of Malta
